I bought some stamps at the post office a few days ago.

cracked

I said "Mam, the bells are all cracked."

She looked at the stamps like there was something wrong with them.

Her coworker had to tell her the bells are supposed to be cracked.

How long have you been back, Linda? I saw your comment over on Sandy's site, and raced over to find out where you've been and to catch up! I've thought of you often, and visited a few times checking to see if you were back, but somehow I missed it when you did make it back. :\ I was trying to catch up with you, but only so many posts are showing up. Anyway, I'm glad you're back! I haven't been around as much as I'd like, but I'm still here!

This is funny!! My hubby bought these stamps too ... not enough of them, though, and once we run out, we'll have to pay the full price for them ... that's not funny! Your cats have grown ... I'm still enjoying my Pookie and Mooshie! They are fun to watch ... they've come to love one another very much! Glad to see you didn't have more damage from those storms! ROFL! I'd take those bells back if they're cracked. Can't believe that clerk couldn't figure that one out. They probably let her vote, too.


That reminds me once of when a friend from church was in the ER. She was kind of nervous, and I was teasing her, and making her laugh. They were monitoring her heartbeat, and the monitor suddenly stopped. I said, "Marge, you're heart's not beating!" She said, "It's not??" and got a little worried, till I reminded her that she would not be conscious and talking to me if her heart were not beating. I'm sure you can imagine the look I got from her.
